Jesus Heals A
Man Born Blind
By
The Twelve Apostles
A Man Born Blind
Receives Sight
As He passed by, He
saw a man blind from his birth. And
His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he
was born blind?”
Jesus answered, “It
was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might
be made manifest in him. We must do
the works of God the Father, divine ministry, while it is day; night comes,
when no one can work. As long as I
am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
As He said this, He spat on the ground and
made clay of the spittle and anointed the man’s eyes with the clay, saying to
him, “Go, wash in the pool of Silo′am”.
So the man went and washed, and came back seeing.
The neighbours and those who had seen him
before as a beggar, said, “Is not this the man who used to sit and beg?” Some said, “It is he”; others said,
“No, but he is like him.” He said, “I am the man.”
They said to him, “Then how were your eyes
opened?” He answered, “The man
called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to Silo′am and wash’; so I went and washed and received
my sight.” They said to him, “Where
is He?” He said, “I do not know.” John 9:1-12
The Pharisees Investigate
The Healing
They brought to the Pharisees the man who had
formerly been blind. Now it was a
Sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. The Pharisees again asked him how he had received his sight. And
he said to them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.”
Some of the Pharisees said, “This man, Jesus,
is not from God, for He does not keep the Sabbath.” But others said, “How can a
man who is a sinner do such signs?” There was a division among them.
So they again said to the blind man, “What do
you say about Him, since He has opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
The Israelites did not believe that he had
been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of the man
who had received his sight, and asked them, “Is this your son, who you say was
born blind? How then does he now see?”
His parents answered, “We know that this is
our son, and that he was born blind; but
how he now sees we do not know, nor do we know who opened his eyes. Ask him; he
is of age, he will speak for himself.” His
parents said this because they feared the Israelites, for the Israelites had
already agreed that if anyone should confess Jesus to be Christ, the person was
to be put out of the synagogue. Therefore
his parents said, “He is of age, ask him.”
So for the second time they called the man who
had been blind, and said to him, “Give God the praise; we know that this man is
a sinner.” He answered, “Whether He
is a sinner, I do not know; one thing I know, that though I was blind, now I
see.”
They said to him, “What did He do to you? How
did He open your eyes?” the man
answered them, “I have told you already, and you would not listen. Why do you
want to hear it again? Do you too want to become His disciples?”
And they reviled the man, saying, “You are His
disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, we do not know
where He comes from.”
The man answered, “Why, this is a marvel! You
do not know where He comes from, and yet He opened my eyes. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a
worshiper of God and does His will, God listens to him. Never since the world began has it been heard that any one opened
the eyes of a man born blind. If
this man were not from God, He could do nothing.” They answered him, “You were born in utter sin, and would you
teach us?” And they cast him out. John 9:13-34
Spiritual Blindness
Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found the man Jesus said,
“Do you believe in the Son of man?”
He answered, “And who is He, sir, that I may
believe in Him?”
Jesus said to him, “You have seen Him, and it
is He who speaks to you.”
The man said, “Lord, I believe”; and he
worshiped him – the man bowed down to Jesus.
Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this
world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become
blind.”
Some of the Pharisees near Him heard this, and
they said to Him, “Are we also blind?” Jesus
said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you
say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains. John 9:35-41
The Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes failed to do the needful, which was to inquire form God about Jesus, believe His teachings and give Him full support and make the masses follow Jesus the Lord and Saviour.
Why A Person May Be Born Blind
1.
People may suffer for the wrongs they committed in
their previous or present lifetime.
2.
A person may be born blind because he does not believe
that God exists.
3.
The suffering may be in this present or future
lifetime.
4.
That is one of the reasons why the innocent suffer in
life.
5.
However, it is not every suffering that is because of
sins committed.
6.
In this very case, God is glorified by a miracle,
which restores the man’s sight, and which miracle shows that God is able.
Water Is Very
Important In Your Spiritual Life
So he went and
washed, and came back seeing. John 9:6
1.
It is good to go to the stream for bath, prayer and
spiritual work, because the water belongs to God, who is the creator of the
heavens and the earth.
2.
However, whatever that people do in the rivers and
streams should be guided and approved by the Holy Spirit. People should not do
something simply because they can do it.
3.
Many argue that it is not good to go to the stream or
river for prayers and deliverance. Their claims are wrong because of the
following reasons:
4.
After God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He
washed their feet with water, by making them pass through the Red Sea.
5.
After forty (40) years journey in the wilderness, when
the Israelites reached the Promised Land, God washed their feet again, by
making them pass through River Jordan.
6.
Naaman was
healed from leprosy by dipping himself seven times inside River Jordan.
7.
Jesus introduced the immersion baptism, through John
the Baptist, for repentance unto salvation.
8.
Jesus was baptized by immersion inside the river, and
when He came out of the water, the Holy Spirit descended on Him in the form of
a dove.
9.
Himself also
baptized people, through His disciples.
10.
God selected soldiers for Gideon by asking Gideon to
take them to the river.
11.
Every day, people use water from streams and rivers
for various purposes, especially for cooking and drinking.
12.
The presence of marine spirits, in the waters, does
not prevent people from using the waters, because the water belongs to the
children of God.
13.
Likewise, the evil spirits in the air do not stop
people from breathing; and the idols and charms inside the ground do not make
people to stop cultivating the ground.
14.
In every situation, pray that the consuming fire of
the Holy Spirit attack, disable, destroy and remove the evil potencies, before
using the materials.
15.
That is why you should spray consuming fire on your
purchases, immediately you get them home, before using the purchases.
Silo’am Does Not Mean Sent
Question: In the bible, it was written that Silo’am means sent.
What is the meaning of the word, sent?
Apostle Matthew: That word sent is not the saint in heaven. Themselves, the bible authors, are misguided leaders who are deceiving others… Son of man, it does not mean that the water is saint or sent. The water is not sent at all.
How People Deny The Truth
Nevertheless many even
of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not
confess it, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: for they loved the
praise of men more than the praise of God. John 12:42,43
1.
Whoever that is afraid or ashamed of confessing his
believe in Jesus Christ has denied Jesus. In the eyes of man and in the midst
of humanity, he still called a Christian, believer or born-again. But in spirit
and in heaven, he is counted among the enemies of God by the Angels.
2.
The parents were being diplomatic in their answers.
That is hypocrisy, because they sided neither with the Pharisees and Scribes
nor with Jesus:
3.
Even so today, many deny Jesus because they fail to
say the Truth when and where they should do so.
4.
And many have made themselves bound to hell fire,
because they supported the rich, the mighty, the famous, the popular, the
great, the influential or their relations, who were wrong, and by so doing
denied God.
5.
Many keep silent in situations where they should speak
out for the Truth.
6.
And many people deny the rights and privileges due to
the true saints, because such people are hypocrites working for their various
man-made churches, ministries and fellowship.
7.
No one ever finds the Truth by shying away from it.
Why Many Fail To Find
And Know The Truth
And they reviled the man, saying, “You are His disciple, but we are
disciples of Moses. John 9:28
Many are still making this same mistake today. Religious leaders are creating so many different types of churches, ministries and fellowships, out of jealousy, greed, misunderstanding, disobedience, and out of love of power, money and fame.
And they migrate from one church, ministry or fellowship to another, because they are seeking for their personal interests and earthly gains. Such people are false believers, because they cause confusions and divisions in the house of God, and because they abandon the Everlasting Covenant of God with humanity, and follow diverse churches, ministries and fellowships which are the gateways into the hell fire.
Many Are Hypocrites
Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not
see may see, and that those who see may become blind.” John 9:39
Each time Jesus is the midst of humanity, He makes false prophets, fake pastors and deceptive ministers known to the general public, by exposing such agents of Satan, their false teachings an devil works.
Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you
would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains. John
9:41
The guilt of such religious leaders remains, because they claim to know and teach the truth but are not doing so. They meet Jesus Christ, who is the Lord and Saviour, but cannot recognize Him and support His ministry. They are hypocrites, who do not and cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Besides, they mislead the souls of many into the hell fire. There is the need for spiritual inquiry by religious leaders, ministers of God and humanity.
True Vision And True Wisdom
Jesus heard that they
had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of
man?” He answered, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?” Jesus said
to him, “You have seen him, and it is he who speaks to you.” He said, “Lord, I
believe”; and he worshiped him. John 9:35-38
1.
And the blind man who was healed did the needful.
2.
He inquired from Jesus and was able to know the
Messiah sent to the world by God.
3.
And he confirmed his faith by worshipping Jesus (by
bowing with his face, forehead, touching the ground.)
4.
Jesus came in such a way that those who are false
prophets, fake pastors and deceptive ministers shall expose themselves, by
their foolishness and blindness, and by their false teachings and wrong
practices, because they do not know the Truth. They do not know the realities
of life in spirit, and they do not see the God Almighty in the midst of humanity.
5.
The religious leaders are guilty because they are not
living up to expectations.
6.
On issues of everyday life and happenings, especially
where necessary, they fail and refuse to inquire from God, who will tell them
the right thing to do or give necessary confirmations. They are busy doing
their own will, following the false imaginations of their own hearts.
7.
They do not know their duties, and are not doing so,
because they are not qualified to do so. Therefore, they are impostors, who are
just ignorant hypocrites and noise makers.
Beware Of Evil
Leaders
1. The case
of the man born blind shows how spiritually ignorant and negligent religious
leaders are.
2. They are
always in opposition to the good works and reformations of God.
3. They are
busy arguing, debating, mocking, cursing or condemning the man who saw God face
to face, before more than forty (40) times, and now more than seventy (70)
times.
4. All that
the religious leaders should do is to go into prayers and inquire from God.
5. And then come
to the public to tell the world what answers God has given them.
6. They
refuse to do this simple duty, which is needful, and are busy deceiving
themselves and misleading the world.
7. This bad
behaviour of the religious leaders and government leaders is a sign that they
are serving themselves. They are busy following the false imaginations of their
hearts. They neither obey God nor inquire from Him,
8.
This bible portion show how religious leaders,
government officers and very important personalities plot against and destroy
reformations from God.
9.
And the general public do not know this fact.
10.
Both religious and civil leaders sit in the thrones of
God, but are very selfish and blind, working for the kingdom of darkness, even
without knowing it.
11.
That is why so many things are going wrong, and that
is also why things are getting worse on multiple fronts.
12.
And God has sent the Warrior Angels with merciless
swords against such misleading people and the multitudes that follow them. Be
warned.
13.
Such is the wickedness of those in positions of
authorities and their deceptive approach to issues of life, as confirmed below:
